RICHARD M. WILLIAMS, PRINCIPAL
Rich founded Connect2 Communications, Inc. in 2003 to address a fundamental flaw in the agency model - the lack of the understanding and appreciation of a company's business and corporate objectives as they relate to communications and public relations strategies. Before starting Connect2, Rich served as director of marketing and business development for Hatteras Networks, directing their brand and go-to-market strategy for their last-mile Ethernet platform encompassing direction of all PR and marketing communications activities. Prior to this, Rich was director of corporate communications at Sycamore Networks, leading Sycamore's communications efforts from Initial Public Offering through the development of an integrated global public relations program, including secondary offering, acquisition, investments, regional launches and impact-of-market contraction. Rich began his career at the American Plastics Council, an industry group focused on environmental issues in Washington DC.
